( a flick of his hand (for the dramatics, because he's always dramatic) and a set of green stairs appears just in front of laura and the little crater he's been maintaining to keep her dry. it goes up to the top where julian's standing.
he figures it feels a little less awkward to walk up stairs than to temporarily lose body anatomy to a telekinetic field, or something. )

( it's actually slightly amusing, enough that something a little like a smile touches her lips as she climbs the glowing stairs. she comes to stand next to julian, arms folded across her chest, and the amusement drops off her expression pretty quickly.
she nods all the same though, looking down at the water with a grim expression. this place is going to be hard to repair. )
Kurtβ he mentioned some. It sounds...insane. Josh is resurrecting people?
He isn't doing it alone. It's the Five. Foley's just making the bodies.
( which sounds weird as shit honestly but you know what. their world is weird as shit, so it checks out. another wave of his hand, and julian pushes damn near most the water out of the building. it won't help it for long, but he can hold up a barrier around it for a little while. the green spark behind his eyes only grows brighter, stays there for a moment while he does a quick scan of the floor to make sure he isn't missing anything important before he--drops the barrier slowly. lets the water trickle back in.
because letting it all back in at once would cause significant more damage and he doesn't want to piss laura off. )
People die, wherever. Tempus, Proteus, Goldballs, Hope, and Foley work together to bring them back.
